I’ve always loved music, teaching and playing the piano. I have taught ages 4 and up for over 30 years and have had a rich and wonderful experience watching my students develop into fine musicians with the ability to be lifelong pianists.

Suzuki Method
I'll help you play with expression, understanding and sensitivity by using the mother tongue approach, developed by S. Suzuki. Classical and a wide variety of other styles offered and encouraged. Many performance opportunities and adjudicated events available to those interested.
Traditional
Reading, Improvisation, Sightreading, Music Theory, Rote Learning, Developing the Ear, Repertoire, Musicianship, Expression. I create fun, engaging and interesting lessons, centered around student interests. Lessons provide opportunities for growth and mastery for all ages.

Certified Suzuki Piano Books 1-4. Certified Music for Young Children Teacher. 26 years teaching experience. BME The Ohio State University. My students have rated in the Top Talent Circle (Piano Guild) and have received high marks in the Royal Conservatory of Canada Exams. Member of the Music Teacher’s National Association and the Central East Ohio Music Teacher’s Association. Former Independent Music Teacher’s Forum Chairperson.

I’m blessed to provide organ and piano music for Epworth’s worship services, weddings and funerals. I accompany the adult choir and direct the bell choir.
